Love and Life; Hate and Death

How is your love life, i.e., your love to Christ and His church?

I.  The saints are commanded to face the reality of the world's opposition.  (1 John 3:13)

II.  The saints are confirmed in their faith by brotherly love.  (1 John 3:14a)

III.  The saints' life is contrasted with the sinners' death.  (1 John 3:14b)

IV.  The sinners' condemnation is proven by lack of love.  (1 John 3:15)

     A.  Haters commit murder.

     B.  Haters are condemned to hell.
