The Resurrection

I.  Jesus' resurrection transformed the fearful disciples.

     A.  The disciples fled from Jesus during His arrest, trial, and death.  (Mark 14:50; Luke 24:11

     B.  The disciple stood boldly for the Lord following the resurrection.  (Acts 4:1-12; etc.)

II.  Jesus' resurrection transformed the church's greatest early opponent.  (Acts 9:1-6a; 2 Cor. 11:23-28)

     A.  Saul of Tarsus was converted when face with the truth of Christ's resurrection.  (Acts 9:1-6a)

     B.  Paul suffered for the glory of the Lord Jesus though he had previously persecuted the church of Christ.  (2 Cor. 11:23-28)

III.  Jesus' resurrection resulted in the church.  (1 Cor. 15:3-4)
