Series: True Knowledge; True Assurance | Category: 1, 2, 3 John | Scripture: 1 John 3:21–3:22 | Tags: Sermons, Prayer, Sanctification, Righteousness

As we come to 1 John 3:21-22 the apostle deals with a heart that does not condemn itself and with the confidence that an uncondemning heart gives a person when coming before the Lord in prayer.

I.  We live with the prospect of a clear conscience.  (1 John 3:21a)

II.  We live with the prospect of a confident approach to God.  (1 John 3:21b)

III.  We live with the promise of answered prayer.  (1 John 3:22a)

IV.  We live with the potential to please God.  (1 John 3:22b)
