I. We are confirmed in our faith as we walk in obedience to Christ's commandment. (1 John 3:23)
A. True Christians believe in God's Son Jesus Christ.
B. True Christians love one another.
II. We are confirmed in our faith as we abide in God and He in us. (1 John 3:24a)
A. True Christians abide in God.
B. True Christians have God abiding in us.
III. We are confirmed in our faith as we walk by the Spirit. (1 John 3:24b)
A. True Christians know that God abides in them because of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
B. True Christians live in light of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
