Nov 29, 2015

Series: Looming Judgment but Future Hope | Category: Malachi | Scripture: Malachi 1:11 | Tags: Morality, Judgment, Doctrine, Repentance, Forgiveness, Sermons

As we look through history since Malachi wrote this prophecy, we conclude that there has never been a time when the characteristics described here have pervaded throughout the earth.  Therefore, the fulfillment of this prophecy must be future.

I.  The Kingdom predicted.  (Selected Scriptures)

     Isaiah 2:2-4; 19:19-21; 13:14-16; 66:18-21; Micah 4:1-2; Zechariah 14:16-19; Matthew 20:20-28; Acts 1:6-7

II.  The Kingdom character.  (Mal. 1:11; Rev. 20:1-6)

     A.  The Kingdom will be characterized by its universality.  (Mal. 1:11)

     B.  The Kingdom will be characterized by the worship of God.

     C.  The Kingdom will be characterized by the absence of Satan's efforts against God and His people.  (Rev. 20:1-3)
