In Acts 2:36-42 the apostle Peter speaks of the crucifixion of Christ, His burial, His resurrection, His Lordship, and His Messiahship to his Jewish audience. Note these points from his sermon that are vital to a gospel proclamation.
I. The consummation of the atonement. (Acts 2:36)
II. The contrition of sinners who come to believe. (Acts 2:37)
III. The call to repentance. (Acts 2:38-39)
A. The Jews must repent.
B. The Gentiles must repent.
Thus we conclude that all who are in the world must repent or else be lost.
IV. The conversion of all who repent. (Acts 2:40-41)
V. The commitment of all who repent. (Acts 2:42)
