I. Assurance is available. (1 John 5:1)
A. Everyone who believes can be assured.
B. Everyone who is assured must believe in Jesus Christ.
C. Everyone who believes, believes because of the new birth.
D. Everyone who believes can be assured because the new birth is a supernatural work of God.
II. Agape is assured. (1 John 5:1b)
A. Everyone who believes loves God.
B. Everyone who believes loves others who have been born of God.
C. Everyone who believes loves others because they have been born of God.
