II.  What believers are (the new person).  (Eph. 4:20-24)

III.  What believers are to do (implications of regeneration).  (Eph. 4:25-32)

     A.  Believers are honest.  (4:25)

          1.  Believers don't lie.

          2.  Believers speak the truth.

          3.  Believers speak so as to aid other believers.

     B.  Believers control their anger.  (4:26-27)

          1.  Believers are commanded to be angry.

          2.  Believers are commanded to avoid sin in the midst of their anger.

          3.  Believers thwart the desires of the devil.

     C.  Believers work.  (4:28)

          1.  Believers do not steal.

          2.  Believers work with their own hands.

          3.  Believers help others with the proceeds of their labors.

     D.  Believers edify one another.  (4:29-30)

          1.  Believers control their tongues.

          2.  Believers speak in order to edigy the body of Christ.

          3.  Believers bless those who hear, both people and the Holy Spirit.

     E.  Believers control their attitudes and actions.  (4:31-32)

          1.  Believers put away destructive attitudes and actions.

          2.  Believers seek the good of other believers.

          3.  Believers follow the pattern of their Lord.
