A. Because of his violence, there would be violence among those of his own household. (12:10)
B. Because of his sinful actions, evil actions among those in his own household would flourish. (12:11a)
C. Because of immorality, there would be immorality within his own household. (12:11b-12)
D. Because of his grave sins, crass behaviors among his family members will serve to embarass him and his descendants. (12:11c-12)
III. Covenant faithfulness often softens God's hand of judgment against His people. (2 Sam. 12:13-15)
